🌍 Meaningful collaboration begins with conversation I had the privilege of attending the Australian Business Summit Council (ABSC) luncheon in honour of the Deputy Ambassador of Zimbabwe and his special envoy. The event brought together visionary leaders including the CEO of Terrestrial Holdings and fellow Australian business professionals to exchange ideas, explore shared industries, and uncover new pathways for partnership between our nations’ private sectors. Full Circle Moments: From Graduation to Collaboration Eleven years ago, I graduated with a university-level degree delivered through TAFE NSW—marking a groundbreaking moment in education as it was the first time such a course was allowed within the TAFE system. It was a day filled with pride, possibility, and purpose. During the ceremony, I was humbled to receive an Outstanding Achievement Award. As I walked across the stage to accept it, I had no idea that Geoff Gaymer the gentleman handing me that award would reappear in my professional life more than a decade later. Fast forward to today—through my involvement as a corporate member of the Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce (CBCC), I recently had the pleasure of reconnecting with that very person Mr Geoff Gaymer He now serves as a board member at CBCC, continuing to play a vital role in TAFE NSW, shaping community and business growth. As we caught up, he casually mentioned, “I was actually there at your graduation in 2014.” That moment hit me. I went back through my old photos and there he was, captured in a moment that meant so much to me. It’s powerful how life comes full circle. This reconnection reminded me how the relationships we form throughout our journey often return in meaningful and unexpected ways. To those just starting their careers value every handshake, every conversation, every shared project. You never know how paths may cross again.
